Edgewood Library News
This year, there are several changes to our library. The major change is that our library will be closed everyday from 1:00 on. If your student forgets his library book on his scheduled library day, be sure he brings it in first thing in the morning on the following day. Also, if a parent wishes to check out a book, she will need to leave it in a basket by the library door with her name, student's name and room number attached to the book. There will be sticky notes available at the showcase outside of the library. I will make sure the book(s) get delivered to your child the following day. Our Fall Book Fair is just around the corner. It will be running Monday Oct. 11th-Friday, Oct.15th. Please be sure to read the parent's letter that comes home with your student. which is attached to the Fair flyer. With the shortened library hours, the book fair is not open as much as in the previous years. It will be open Mon.-Wed. 8:30-1:00, but will be closed Thursday during the day. It will also be opened during the conferences on Wed. and Thurs. evenings and Friday morning. The Book Fair is something the students really look forward to. It's a great opportunity to get more books into students hands while helping to support our library.
