Champions Again!

The Fruitport Volleyball team repeated as class B Volleyball Champions!  The Trojans defeated East Grand Rapids in a 5 game semi final and Tecumseh in three games for the championship.  The "Trojan Volleyball Tradition" now includes three state titles (2005, 2010, 2011), and seven state  finals appearances since 2001.  This year they also won their seventh straight conference title,  fourteenth district, and eleventh regional championship.  Congratulations Coach Nicole Bayle and Lady Trojans!

Sportsmanship Guidelines

The Lakes 8 Activities Conference has developed guidelines for our schools to follow to ensure the good sportsmanship in conference competition. These guidelines are not all-inclusive but should give schools a good idea as to what is and what is not acceptable. The Administrators in the Lakes 8 Activities Conference encourage energetic and supportive student groups in the stands, but we also have a duty to ensure that what is being done is appropriate. We hope that fans will be loud and have a great time supporting their team in a positive manner--while recognizing that the real contest is the competition on the court or the field, not in the stands.
