Health Education- Health class is designed to educate and encourage students to assume responsibility for personal health decisions and practices that will promote healthy lifestyles. This is accomplished through projects, factual presentations, readings, and guest speakers that motivate and assist students in achieving their fullest potential.

CPR, First Aid/Peer Assistance- This elective health class will enable students to review relevant topics in an ever-changing society and become knowledgeable in available community services, resources, and health careers. Students will develop skills to assist others in the areas of CPR and First Aid and will have the opportunity to receive American Red Cross certification in the areas of Infant, Child, and Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation as well as First Aid.

Social Responsibility- Social Responsibility is designed to assist the students in the development of personal and social responsibility. This includes development in the areas of self-esteem, responsibility, relating effectively and goal setting/problem solving. This course focuses on increasing awareness and the establishment of those skills necessary to deal with everyday decisions.
