I became an alumni of Fruitport Schools in 2010, and I am very excited to be back in the community! With this role, I want to provide our staff and students with the support they need to be successful. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with my Bachelors in Exercise Science. When I am not at work, I am with my family and friends! I currently have 2 boys and 2 dogs who all keep me very busy! A few things that I enjoy are camping, shopping, and animals! LETS GO BLUE!

I came to Fruitport in 2014 after being a teacher and administrator for West Catholic High School for 9 years and the math consultant at Kent Intermediate School District for 4 years.  

It is an honor to serve as the Superintendent of Fruitport Community Schools. What I love most about Fruitport is the strength of the relationships that make our district feel like a true community. Our schools are built on people—students who inspire us, staff who pour their hearts into their work, parents and families who partner with us, and community members who believe deeply in our schools.

I love being part of the Fruitport School community and have a real passion for education. It’s so rewarding to support students, staff, and families each day. When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me with a good book or outside playing with my furbabies.
