I came to Fruitport in 2014 after being a teacher and administrator for West Catholic High School for 9 years and the math consultant at Kent Intermediate School District for 4 years.  

I am very fortunate to have a job I absolutely love. Working with the group of loyal, caring, passionate individuals at Fruitport Community Schools is the highlight of my day!

Since I was in elementary school I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  Helping my classmates with their studies came naturally and I relished in those instances when I saw the “light” turn on in the eyes of students I was tutoring.  Helping others grow has been a lifelong pursuit and still inspires me to this day.
