It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Beach Elementary School. Beach is far more than a place where learning happens—it is a community where every student, staff member, and family belongs. We are a vibrant, supportive school family that fosters growth, inspires curiosity, and celebrates the unique potential of each child. Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to challenge and empower all learners. Together with our families and community partners, we are committed to ensuring every student feels valued, supported, and connected as they reach their fullest potential.

We pursue this mission through a variety of intentional practices: employing high-quality teachers and support staff, implementing a rigorous and thoughtfully designed curriculum, integrating technology to enhance learning, maintaining a consistent and balanced assessment system, actively engaging parents and community members, and remaining steadfast in our pursuit of continuous improvement. We evolve alongside the ever-changing needs of our students, always striving to provide the very best educational experience—one rooted in inclusion, connection, and belonging.

Beach Elementary has a proud history of academic excellence. We have earned “Reward School” designation multiple times from the State—an accomplishment that reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire school community. Even with this recognition, we remain focused on growth, improvement, and innovation. We value our strong partnership with our equally exceptional sister schools, Shettler and Edgewood, as we work collaboratively to support Fruitport Community Schools’ vision of empowering individuals to positively impact their world.
