Elroy Buckner Treasurer (231) 865-4100
Send an Email Read MoreI was first elected to the Board of Education in 1988. My goal at that time was to give back to the community through my service as a board member. After a short period of time, I realized I could contribute to the fiscally soundness of Fruitport finances. Fruitport currently has the lowest tax base in the county. My educational background in accounting and business finances has helped provide some insight when tough financial decisions are at hand.

Send an Email Read MoreI ran for the Fruitport School Board because I wanted to make sure our kids were thought of first in all decisions that needed to be made now and in the future. I have found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. My most favorite part is seeing the work of our students whether it is on the field, on the stage, in an arena, or presenting before the school board. I take great pride in Fruitport and take every opportunity to promote our school system to others.
